Our one-to-one My Next Step counseling services are designed to support you from the founding to the realization of your academic project in your chosen destinations. From initial orientation and school selection, through skillful essay writing and recommender guidance, to administrative assistance, you can rely on our expertise and insight to help you present and uphold forceful applications.
My Next Step is also intended for students who, after graduating from high school or between two university degrees, wish to acquire either a hands-on or a professional experience. According to your quest, we will design and organize your ideal Gap Year and/or provide you with an internship abroad, in an international company, within your selected field.

Taking a GAP YEAR is an enriching and valuable experience which will allow you not only to explore new activities in unfamiliar surroundings, but also to meet people stemming from different cultures and backgrounds.Personally, you will expand your horizons and will bring to light some undisclosed skills thus far. Academically and professionally, after taking a Gap Year, your resume will reveal a dynamic and diverse profile, enabling you to make the difference and hence catch the eye of a potential Director of Admissions and/or Employer.
In partnership with the best experts worldwide, our GAP YEAR packages will provide you with a large choice of destinations and activities to undertake during your chosen time frame (conservation, volunteer work, sustainable development…).

Other Services
For students in search of a shorter first experience abroad, we suggest a Foundation Programme. For Junior and/or Senior high school students willing to get a foretaste of «university life», we recommend they apply to a Summer Intensive program.
Aimed at EU and international students having earned a secondary school degree, this one-year course provides them an alternative or additional qualification route to university degree courses. Well-suited for students uncertain about their degree choice, this course prepares them for university in a supportive college environment. Recognized by the most renowned UK universities, this Foundation Programme enables students to apply freely to any institution. 
Designed for Junior and Senior high school students, eager to discover the exciting life on US campuses, My Next Step will support your applications to summer academic sessions offered by renowned universities. This invaluable experience will not only contribute to improving students’ English skills, but will also introduce them to new academic fields and give them the opportunity to initiate a worldwide network. In addition, these programs include several cultural, sports and other recreational activities. Highly selective and greatly prized, these programmes have early application deadlines, usually in March.
Specialized in the French secondary and higher education systems, as well as trained to the techniques of support and skills assessment, our My Next Step guidance counselor will advise you throughout the development of your orientation project by means of:
(a) activity reports, allowing to know oneself better, as well as one’s aspirations and profile;
(b) information on the offer, the selection process, the programs’ content and career opportunities;
(c) ensuring the student’s high school record complies with the level required by higher education institutions;
(d) personalized student counseling to register on the Admission Post Bac (APB) online system;
(e) guidance counseling for high school graduates who, after having already followed 1 or 2 years at a university, wish to operate a shift in their academic path;
(f) assistance on applications for the entrance exams to the « Grandes Ecoles » (HEC, ESSEC…) through parallel admission tracks.
Our counselor offers punctual sessions (to finalize a project, such as « How to become an engineer ? ») or deeper assessments, including a first appointment and a final meeting with the student’s parents.
Taking the IELTS or TOEFL test is a mandatoryand crucial step for foreign students in their application process. To help them achieve the scores required by their intended universities, My Next Step offers them to follow the curriculum designed by our native English teacher, whose 10 years of experience will allow them to make significant progress.My Next Step favors tutoring vs conventional classroom learning. During the first lesson, students are given an assessment to establish the gaps in their knowledge and hence better target their learning. With classes not exceeding 6 students, the lecturesare kept highly structured. In addition to their lessons, students receive a personalized study plan they can follow in their own time. We give 2 mock tests to check their level before the real IELTS/TOEFL test.
To maximise effective learning in a short time, we also offer intensive one-to-one lessons.
